This position requires sales experience and knowledge of electrical components.
Sales experience in wholesale electrical distribution is preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Commercial and Residential Electrical components, with 2 or more years of sales experience.
Candidate must have a great personality and have exceptional Customer Service and Phone skills! Must be able to multitask, field phone calls, work with customers face to face, have the ability to manage time.
Must be a Team Player.
Responsibilities will include: Assisting customers at our supplies counter, responding to e-mails and phone calls, working with customers to determine products needed and entering quotes and orders into computer.
Processing orders and other tasks as assigned.
New hires will work for several weeks in our shipping and receiving department to learn Hill Electric Supply's operation from the beginning.
Next this person will work for several weeks at a desk position entering orders that come in over the phone and through the internet, and answer phone and email questions.
Next this person will work at our supplies counter selling to contractors and other customers, preparing quotations, contacting potential customers to grow our business and perform other tasks as assigned.
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 7am - 5pm.
The exact schedule will be determined once your training is complete.
Applicants with more experience may progress through the training process faster and may be eligible for additional compensation or higher starting salary.
