Broad Function
To assist in the administration and supervision of all aspects of SUNY Adirondack Saratoga.
To administer and oversee the implementation all of SUNY Adirondack’s concurrent enrollment programs (College Academy) under the general supervision of the Director.
Major Responsibilities
Assist the Director in providing academic services for students at the SUNY Adirondack Saratoga Branch Campus.
Assist the Director in the administration of all the College’s concurrent-enrollment programs (College Academy), including, but not limited to College in the High School (CHS), Early College Career Academy (ECCA) and P-TECH, Campus Academy.
Assist the Director in overseeing all SUNY Adirondack Saratoga building operations.
Assume responsibilities of the Director in their absence.
Provide administrative support of classroom activities for scheduled courses in Saratoga.
Provide appropriate direct support and/or referral services to students.
Serve as administrative point of contact for faculty and students
Assist the Director with facility schedule for credit courses, non-credit courses, and meetings.
In collaboration with BOCES counterparts, recruit students for the Early College Career Academy (ECCA) and P-TECH.
Advise ECCA students at the Saratoga campus in coordination with student success advisors at the Queensbury campus.
Coordinate and administer placement testing for concurrent-enrollment students.
Coordinate with the Accessibility Services Office (ASO) in support of students registered there.
In collaboration with appropriate college offices, coordinate student events and activities at SUNY Adirondack Saratoga.
Monitor the level of technological services for students and faculty, report issues as they arise, and assist faculty and students when possible.
Participate on appropriate college committees.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in student services and/or academic affairs, preferably with supervisory experience and preferably at an institution of higher education.
Educational Requirements
Master’s Degree is required, preferably in Education, Student Services and/Academic Affairs, Counseling or similar field.
