Job Description Our Program Management Office focuses on ensuring that the business systems support the operations needed by the Lines of Business (LOB) and we continually seek to improve on business capabilities in alignment with overall NR Program and NNL goals.
The successful candidate will support the LOBs by integrating and coordinating efforts among the functional users and IT communities to ensure our business applications continue to meet operational needs.
Responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to the following: Assist in the migration and software development lifecycle for the Time & Attendance SaaS solution.
Configure and develop pay rules and calculations, accrual policies, and other policies to comply with HR and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Assist Payroll and HR to triage/mitigate any system/integration issues impacting processing and liaison with internal stakeholders and vendor support if necessary.
Define, document, and translate business requirements into detailed functional/technical specifications and use cases as required.
Understand and have experience with Union overtime/double-time, complex calculations, and FLSA laws.
Perform testing for all application upgrades/enhancements.
Provide software development and analytical expertise to support the organization.
Assist and/or lead process improvements across the FS organization and sites in support of FS business objectives.
Maintain knowledge and awareness of best practices, and compliance related to issues in area of expertise to increase organizational effectiveness.
Ensure compliance to policies and procedures as directed by management.
Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities.
Ensures proper controls are established and maintained over test and production systems and software source code.
Configures, implements, maintains and upgrades functional/business area Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application modules (e.
g.
, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain Management).
Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills Experience in Workforce Management/Time and Attendance software.
Experience with Java-based technologies (J2EE, JSP, JDBC, Apache Groovy) and database technologies.
Experience with SaaS solutions and cloud-based technologies.
The ability to work interdependently with technical IT teams, project application teams and business units to ensure service delivery of business capabilities is meeting business objectives.
Excellent analytical, design, and organizational skills, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage time efficiently with the capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently under minimal supervision.
A team player with the ability to build consensus with other team members.
Experience with high levels of accountability; demonstrated initiative, innovation, and flexibility.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
