The ideal candidate will have strong and demonstrated management skills, leadership skills, and will work well in a self motivationally structured environment.
This position requires 80-90% travel to various locations throughout the Northeast (NY mostly, VT, NH as of now), with possible expansion into other areas.
This person will report directly to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of opening or transitioning new properties, overseeing parts of renovations.
*Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:* * Ability to travel on short notice throughout the year to various locations * Fully embodying and representing Weekender cultural and brand standards at all times * Assist with transitioning and opening of new properties, including ordering and installation of OS&E, determining comp set and ADR, performing HR functions with new team members * Act as temporary General Manager at any Weekender property during absence of full time GM, including covering for vacation periods or other absences * Support in execution of special projects * When acting as interim GM, lead on-site operational team, including scheduling, daily housekeeping and guest services operations, and assisting with engineering * Assisting with onboarding and training of new leadership hires This position requires a high level of comfort with technology; knowledge and experience of the hospitality industry; and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

At the end of year one, the terms of the agreement will be reviewed.
