What will I do as a Director of Maintenance - Housing for The Wesley Community?
Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance/Building Safety of Woodlawn Apartments, Inc.
(Woodlawn) and Embury Apartments, Inc.
(Embury), the housing companies within The Wesley Community.
Your actions need to be in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facilities and as may be directed by the Director of Woodlawn Independent Living or Director of Embury to assure that our facility is maintained in an orderly, safe and economical manner.
Director of Maintenance Requirements:
High School graduation or equivalency, required.
Technical training in maintenance, preferred.
Certified HVAC Technician
Two years' experience in related health care setting, preferred.
Supervisory experience, required.
Must have good working knowledge of building construction and maintenance.
Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc.
, as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
