The Front Desk Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences at the Lake Motel.
They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front desk operations, managing a team of front desk agents, and ensuring efficient and courteous guest service.
The Front Desk Manager works closely with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and contributes to the overall success of the motel.
Key Responsibilities: * Supervision and Training: * Supervise, train, and mentor front desk staff to ensure high standards of guest service.
* Guest Relations: * Greet guests upon arrival, handle guest inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
* Ensure all guest requests and special accommodations are met to exceed guest expectations.
* Reservation Management: * Oversee reservation systems and ensure accuracy of bookings.
* Manage third party reservations * Manage room assignments and monitor room availability to maximize occupancy.
* Financial Management: * Process guest payments, handle cash, and maintain accurate accounting records.
* Monitor and control expenses related to front desk operations.
* Administrative Tasks: * Maintain front desk supplies, equipment, and inventory.
* Prepare and analyze reports related to front desk operations as required.
* Safety and Security: * Implement and enforce safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
* Handle emergencies and escalate issues as needed.
* Communication and Coordination: * Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other teams to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
* Quality Assurance: * Ensure compliance with motel policies, procedures, and standards.
* Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
Qualifications: * Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a motel or hotel setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Proficiency in using reservation and front desk management software.
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Knowledge of safety and security protocols.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus.
Working Conditions: * This position involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
* The role may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of heavy objects.
* Front Desk Managers may need to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the motel's operational needs.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
00 - $25.
