*EMPLOYEE JOB DESCRIPTION* *Position: *Client Services Manager *Overview: *The client services manager is responsible for the daily oversight and management of Wellspring’s domestic violence survivor services.
This includes direct supervision of all direct care advocates staff as well as providing direct services to victims of domestic violence seeking support services.
This employee assists in developing new programs and initiatives and provides direct oversight of advocates.
The client services manager acts as a liaison between Wellspring and social service providers in our community that typically provide supportive services to our clients and represents the agency in the community through outreach and networking.
The non-residential services manager reports to the program director.
*Minimum Qualifications:* 1.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in social work or a related field, and experience in a supervisory capacity.
2.
Able to lift 40 pounds, walk up and down stairs, and to perform basic office tasks 3.
Currently have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a reliable means of transportation.
*Required Skills:* 1.
Comprehensive knowledge of the dynamics of domestic violence and sexual assault and skilled in crisis intervention.
2.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
3.
Possess high-level problem-solving skills.
4.
Flexible and adaptive.
5.
Ability to: * perform all job responsibilities of subordinate staff.
* advocate diplomatically on victim’s behalf with community partners.
* prioritize multiple tasks efficiently, manage time well and delegate duties for maximum efficiency, work independently and as a team member, meet short deadlines.
* maintain necessary work-related records.
*Specific Job Responsibilities:* Duties include but are not limited to the following: 1.
Maintain all client files according to standards required by the agency and funders.
2.
Maintain all program records, statistics and materials.
3.
Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations related to the support services are being offered.
4.
Regularly report on program outcomes and performance.
*Direct Client Services* 1.
Provide all direct services as described in the job description for victim advocates.
2.
Provide, or ensure the provision of, client accompaniment and advocacy 3.
Implement and facilitate support and skill-building groups.
4.
Monitor literature and integrate current knowledge and strategies in working with victims of domestic violence.
5.
Attend trainings to develop and maintain skills and up to date knowledge base.
*Supervisory Responsibilities* 1.
Supervise assigned staff and volunteers.
Monitor job performance and compliance with job responsibilities on an on-going basis including direct observation of primary responsibilities.
Write formal evaluations.
*General Responsibilities: * 1.
Participate in the hotline and back-up rotation as assigned.
Duties may include counseling and crisis intervention, shelter intakes, advocacy, SANE accompaniment, assurance of transportation and other emergency intervention services.
2.
Seek timely administrative guidance and support to address work-related conflicts or obstacles in ensuring quality of services.
3.
Comply with all agency policies in work with clients and when representing the agency in the community.
4.
Participate in volunteer trainings as required.
5.
Participate in coalitions, workshops, meetings, and other trainings.
6.
Perform other duties as assigned.
*Professional Conduct* 1.
Maintain positive interactions with coworkers and outside providers.
2.
Exhibit appropriate professional dress, conduct and communications.
3.
Demonstrate punctuality and reliability.
4.
Utilize accrued leave appropriately.
5.
Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines and standards.
6.
Work effectively with team and provide assistance as needed.
