Social Emotional Interventionist

Slate Valley is looking for a Social Emotional Interventionist who works with students in grades K-12 to identify lagging skills and improve upon these skills through direct instruction, coaching, and modeling.
The interventionist addresses the specific skills of a particular student in addition to regular classroom instruction.
Interventionists work with the teacher, parents, community members, and principal to review data, determine student needs, and design methods to address social and emotional learning.
Interventionists consult frequently with classroom teachers regarding social/emotional barriers that may negatively impact students accessing their education.
