Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team.
As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and lives of young children.
Your responsibilities will include creating engaging lesson plans, providing early intervention support, and fostering a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, and physical development
- Provide early intervention support to students who may require additional assistance
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable to learn and explore
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop curriculum and enhance the learning experience
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Foster a love for learning through creative and interactive teaching techniques
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required
-Child Development Associate (CDA)in Preschool, will also be considered
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred
